In order to provide the best dental care to our patients, our office uses state-of-the-art technologies in all our procedures. These technologies allow us to provide your dental care with precision, early detection, and produce great results for all your treatment needs. Digital X-Rays
Dental x-ray examinations provide valuable information for dentists to evaluate your present oral health. When the x-ray passes through your bone and teeth, it strikes the x-ray film or digital sensor producing an image called a radiograph. Radiographs allow dentists to see hidden abnormalities like tooth decay, infections and signs of gum disease, including changes in bone and tissue holding the teeth together. The amount of radiation from dental x-rays is very small (about 40 times less) compared to our daily exposure of naturally-occur radioactive elements.
In our office we use digital sensors which allows us to take x-rays using 80% less radiation than film x-rays and without any use of chemicals to produce an instantaneous quality images. The highly detailed images of your mouth enable accurate diagnosis to determine the best treatment for every situation.
Intraoral Imaging
We have an intraoral camera, which is like a very small camera about the size of a marker, to clearly photograph the condition of your teeth and gums. The technology allows us to focus on small diseased areas, cracks, chips and worn metal fillings. The color images are sent to a computer screen to be viewed by doctor and patient. Because the images can be seen on full screen, patients will be able to see areas of concern and gain a better understanding of dental procedures recommended.
Paperless Charting
Our office utilizes digital technology for most of your dental visit. This means all of your charting and x-rays are made and recorded to a computer. The technology allows us to maintain your dental records electronically, cutting down on the unnecessary waste of paper and improve standardized records. This makes information more current and easy to read. The information can also be used quickly and securely to request treatment benefits from your insurance company or share with your other health care providers.
Automated Appointment Request
We offer an automated appointment request system using your email. Simply email us your date and time needs through our contact email system and will find the appropriate day to meet your schedule. We will also be able to remind you of your appointment two days prior to your schedule.
Digital Patient Education
Our office has Casey, a digital patient education system which explains dental conditions and procedures. Each procedure along with the root cause will be carefully explained with quality visual aids. This will allow our patients to thoroughly understand their treatment recommendations as well as methods to improve home care.
Zoom! Chairside Whitening System
Your smile is important to us. It’s one of the first things you notice when you meet someone. Our office offers the Zoom! Chairside Whitening System which can help you achieve a whiter, brighter, smile after one hour. Our teeth stain and darken over time from aging and what we eat or drink.
